Bangladesh reported 30 coronavirus positive cases and one Covid-19 death on Tuesday.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) released a daily bulletin here, stating that 5.14 percent of Covid-19 positive cases in Bangladesh were recorded, with 584 samples having been tested in the last 24 hours.

Over the course of the period, there have been 26 coronavirus infections in the capital and Dhaka district combined, although there have been no recorded Covid-19 fatalities.

According to the official count, the virus has so far infected 20,46,788 persons and killed 29,481 individuals.

The statement also stated that four more patients were released from the special hospitals in the last day, bringing the total number of patients recovered to 20,46,788.

According to DGHS statistics, from the start of the pandemic, 98.41 percent of Covid-19 patients have recovered and 1.44 percent have perished.
