Dhaka, Dec 12 (V7N)- BNP Standing Committee member Major (retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed has stated that the people of Bangladesh are ready to sacrifice their lives but will never allow the country to be humiliated in front of India. He made these remarks during a program at the National Press Club on Thursday morning.

Hafiz Uddin criticized India for allegedly undermining its neighbors, saying, "India has poisoned every neighboring country and aims to keep them under its control. But in the new Bangladesh, there will be no Indian aggression."

Call for Military Readiness

The BNP leader urged the nation to prepare for potential aggression, particularly students, whom he called upon to receive military training. Hafiz emphasized the importance of national readiness, asserting, "If India starts a war, it will end in India."

Praise for Communal Harmony in Bangladesh

Hafiz Uddin also highlighted Bangladesh’s unique standing in terms of communal harmony, claiming that no other country in the world exemplifies such coexistence. He stressed the importance of maintaining this harmony despite external provocations.
