Sylhet, Dec 13 (V7N)- Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has accused the Awami League of conspiring against the country despite being "politically dead." He made these remarks while addressing a workers' conference held at Alia Madrasa Ground in Sylhet city on Friday morning.

Speaking as the chief guest, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman alleged that the Awami League is trying to re-enter politics by resorting to violence against the people. He also claimed that the ruling party and its allies are working from abroad to disrupt the country's peace and harmony.

Outlining Jamaat-e-Islami's vision for the future, the Jamaat Amir stated, "We want to establish a state free from discrimination, corruption, irregularities, and bribery." He emphasized the party's commitment to creating a just and fair society for all citizens.

The workers' conference was attended by Jamaat leaders and supporters, who reiterated their resolve to work towards the party's goals and bring about significant changes in the political landscape of the country.
