Dhaka, Dec 25 (V7N) — Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has called on all citizens to unite and work together to sustain the wave of change sweeping across Bangladesh. He made these remarks during the National Doctors' Rally, organized by the National Doctors' Forum Bangladesh, held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman emphasised the need to address internal inequalities to propel the nation forward. "Eliminating inequality is essential for progress. A united effort can lead to a brighter future," he said.

Addressing the attending doctors, he highlighted their unique position in shaping a humane society. "Doctors can lead the way in building a humane country. Your role is vital, and support from all levels is crucial," he stated.

He further stressed the importance of education and research as cornerstones for national development. "A country cannot advance without acquiring knowledge through education and research. I urge doctors to prioritise these areas to ensure sustainable progress," he added.

The rally saw enthusiastic participation from medical professionals across the country, underlining their commitment to playing a significant role in fostering change and addressing societal inequalities.
