Dhaka, Jan 17 (V7N)- Dhaka District Jubo Dal President Yasin Ferdous Murad has alleged that Bangladesh's image has been tarnished due to the corruption of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's family. He said that vote theft and corruption are the history of the Awami League. This has been proven again through the 'misdeeds' of Sheikh Hasina's niece Tulip Siddiqui.
He said this at a rally organized by Dhamrai Sadar Union BNP and its affiliates at Sharifabagh Babul Mia Rice Mill Ground on Friday. The rally was held as part of a public engagement program to distribute winter clothes on the occasion of the 89th birth anniversary of BNP founder former President Ziaur Rahman and implement the 31-point agenda announced by BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
Yasin Ferdous Murad said that BNP will take a fair look at all the exploitation, deprivation and torture of the Awami League that fell into power after coming to power. All those responsible for all their murders and injustices will be brought to justice.
Highlighting the history of Awami League's vote theft, he said that 100 percent voter turnout was shown in many polling stations in the past 15 years. Even dead people voted during their time.
Under the chairmanship of former Union BNP President Abdus Salam, local leaders MA Jalil, Abu Taher Mukut, Sabina Yasmin, Asifur Rahman Milon, Ansar Ali, Enayet Hossain, Abdur Razzak also spoke.
