Dhaka, Mar 14 (V7N) – The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has established a dedicated cell to monitor and document incidents of violence against women and children, rape, and murder across the country. The initiative also aims to provide legal and health assistance to victims.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the formation of the cell during a press conference in Nayapaltan on Friday (March 14) morning.

Rizvi strongly condemned the death of the tortured child in Magura, accusing the interim government of failing to ensure justice. He alleged that criminals are going unpunished due to weak law enforcement, leading to a rise in violence and crimes.

The BNP leader further claimed that the wounds of the past 15 years of oppression under the previous government remain unhealed, urging the current administration to restore law and order immediately.

The newly formed cell will actively collect data, assist victims, and push for legal action against perpetrators, BNP sources confirmed.
