Dhaka, May 05 (V7N) – Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Grigorievich Khojin paid a courtesy visit to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday morning (May 4) at the BNP Chairperson’s Political Office in Gulshan.

The meeting began around 11:00 AM and was attended by BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and BNP Organizing Secretary Shama Obaid, who also serve on the party’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee and Chairperson’s Special Assistant Advisory Committee, respectively.

According to the BNP media wing, the meeting focused on matters of bilateral interest between Russia and Bangladesh. Discussions may have also included the country’s current political situation.

Following the meeting, BNP leaders are scheduled to brief the media regarding the topics discussed.
