Dhaka, May 06 (V7N) – BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia has returned to Dhaka after completing four months of medical treatment in London. She arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday morning aboard a special air ambulance provided by the Emir of Qatar.

The flight landed at 10:40 AM, and shortly after 11:00 AM, Khaleda Zia departed for her rented residence in Gulshan, known as 'Firoza', accompanied by her two daughters-in-law, Dr. Zubaida Rahman and Syeda Sharmila Rahman.

Thousands of BNP leaders and activists lined the airport road to welcome their party chief, chanting slogans and waving party flags as her motorcade passed.

This marks her first public return to the country since leaving for treatment abroad, generating significant political interest and emotional response from her supporters.
