Dhaka, Aug 29 (V7N) – BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia’s physical condition is currently stable, according to her personal physician Dr. A. Z. M. Zahid.

Speaking to reporters after accompanying her to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday night, Dr. Zahid said that Khaleda Zia underwent a routine health check-up. “There was a lot of negligence in her treatment during the Awami League period. If she had received timely treatment, her physical condition could have improved further,” he remarked.

Khaleda Zia arrived at Evercare Hospital around 7:30 pm for the check-up and returned to her Firoza residence after 11 pm.
