Dhaka, Oct 04 (V7N) – Despite differences in ideology and political philosophy, all political forces are united on the Bangladesh issue, said National Citizens Party (NCP) Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain.

In an interview with Jamuna Television, Akhtar Hossain said that the participation of political representatives in the Chief Advisor’s entourage to the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly proves this unity, which has also been recognized on the world stage.

“The inclusion of politicians of diverse backgrounds in the delegation demonstrates that political coexistence is the future of Bangladesh,” he said.

The NCP leader noted that representatives from several parties involved in the anti-fascist movement accompanied the Chief Advisor to New York, viewing the initiative as a positive step toward inclusive politics.

“Although Awami terrorists attempted to create an embarrassing situation after our arrival in New York, the Chief Advisor made it clear that dictatorship will never return to Bangladesh, nor will oppression and misuse of power be tolerated,” he added.

Akhtar Hossain emphasized that while political parties may have differing agendas and opinions, they remain united on the fundamental issue of Bangladesh’s democracy and sovereignty. “This visit sends an important message to the world — that political coexistence is possible in Bangladesh, and that all parties are committed to ensuring fair elections and democratic governance,” he said.

He concluded by noting that the UN visit serves as an example of national unity beyond political divisions.
