Dhaka, Oct 04 (V7N) – BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that individuals loyal to a religious party are being appointed to key positions within the administration.

He made the remarks on Saturday morning (October 4) after paying homage to late President Ziaur Rahman at his grave, accompanied by members of the newly formed committee of the Engineers Association of Bangladesh (AAB).

Rizvi claimed that efforts are underway to create public confusion through fabricated issues and misleading statistics. “The people cannot be deceived by false statements or fake figures. They know who has been fighting uncompromisingly for the past 15 years,” he said.

He also asserted that free and fair elections cannot be held under a party-biased administration, adding that the public is fully prepared for the February national elections and will not accept another “dummy election.”

At the same time, Rizvi condemned the distortion of Dr. Muhammad Yunus’s image at a Puja Mandap in India, calling the act deeply disrespectful.
