Dhaka, Dec 03 (V7N) — BNP Standing Committee member Dr. Moin Khan has alleged that BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia became a victim of the Awami League’s “anger and vindictiveness.” He said Khaleda Zia is respected by people from all walks of life because she never surrendered to injustice.

He made these remarks on Wednesday at a Milad Mahfil held at Bhashani Auditorium in Nayapaltan to pray for Khaleda Zia’s recovery.

Dr. Moin Khan said that Khaleda Zia appeared before the court out of respect for the rule of law, even though the case against her was driven by political vengeance. He added that she has always upheld the law despite facing injustice.

Describing her as a “symbol of the trust of the people,” he said that despite attempts to push her away from national politics, Khaleda Zia continued to stand beside the people with unwavering determination.

Prayers were offered at the event seeking the speedy recovery of the BNP Chairperson.
