Dhaka, Dec 18 (V7N) – BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s physical condition remains stable, her personal physician Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain confirmed at a briefing in front of Evercare Hospital on Thursday afternoon.

Dr. Zahid said, “She is receiving proper treatment, and further improvement is possible if her current condition continues. The Medical Board has not made any new decisions, so for now, her treatment will continue at Evercare Hospital.”

He called on the nation to pray for her recovery, emphasizing that she is being monitored closely by the Medical Board with support from both local and foreign doctors. “We are hopeful that she will gradually recover. However, her age and long-standing illnesses, combined with a lack of earlier planned treatment, have made her current condition more complicated,” he added.

Begum Khaleda Zia has been battling multiple complex health issues for a long time. She was admitted to Evercare Hospital on the night of November 23 after experiencing sudden breathing difficulties and has been under continuous observation since then.
