Dhaka, Feb 09 (V7N)- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman emphasized the party’s vision for Bangladesh and urged citizens to vote in the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum at an election rally for Dhaka-10 constituency held at Kalabagan Krira Chakra ground on Monday (February 9) afternoon.

Tarique Rahman invoked the legacy of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, stating, “Bangladesh is our first and last destination. Despite persecution, Khaleda Zia never left the country. The people of this nation are her family. Let us work hard, stay united, and build the country.”

The BNP chairman stressed that real progress comes from clear plans, not criticism of opponents, and outlined key initiatives the party will implement if elected:

  • Krishi Card: To support farmers across the country.

  • Family Card: To empower mothers and housewives, especially in marginalized communities.

  • Expatriate Card: To ensure dignity, security, and reduced hardship for the nation’s 15 million expatriates upon returning home.

Tarique Rahman said that the overarching goal of these initiatives is changing the fate of the people of Bangladesh. He concluded by urging the public to participate in the vote on February 12.

The rally was presided over by BNP candidate for Dhaka-10, Rabiul Alam Robi.
