Despite discussions within the party and with Khaleda Zia's family about the possibility of seeking treatment abroad, they have not received approval from the government yet. The government recently extended the suspension of her jail term for another six months. Fakhrul's visit to Khaleda Zia on Sunday night, accompanied by medical board member Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, underscores the seriousness of her deteriorating health condition, prompting ongoing discussions within the party about the next steps for her treatment.
