Dhaka, Aug 20 (V7N)- A delegation of the National Citizen Party (NCP), led by Sub-Committee Chairman Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, met with Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen at the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka on Thursday (August 20).
The meeting focused on Bangladesh-China bilateral relations, the regional situation and various issues of mutual interest.
According to the NCP, the two sides exchanged views in a cordial and constructive atmosphere. They emphasized the importance of maintaining continued diplomatic communication, mutual respect and cooperation to promote regional stability and common development.
The NCP delegation included Alauddin Mohammad, in-charge of the party’s International Cell; Mahbub Alam, head of the East Asia Desk; Navid Nowraj Shah, head of the European Union (EU) Desk; and Manjila Jhuma, joint chief coordinator.
The meeting comes amid continued diplomatic engagement between Bangladesh and China on bilateral and regional issues.
