Dhaka, August 5 — The office of Awami League President Sheikh Hasina in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, was set on fire by agitators on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred shortly after Sheikh Hasina fled the country amidst escalating unrest and protests demanding her government's resignation.

Earlier in the day, at approximately 2:30 PM, Sheikh Hasina and her younger sister, Sheikh Rehana, left Dhaka via a military helicopter from Bangabhaban. According to sources, they have relocated to a safe place, with reports from AFP confirming their departure.
