Dhaka, August 21 — The Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch (DB) has arrested Captain (retd) AB Tajul Islam, former Minister of State for Liberation War Affairs, former Chairman of Chittagong Port Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail, and Awami League Organizing Secretary Ahmed Hossain.

According to DB sources, the arrests were made on Tuesday night. Captain (retd) Tajul Islam was detained in Gulshan, Rear Admiral Sohail in Banani, and Ahmed Hossain in Rampura. The trio is currently in DB custody.
