Dhaka, Sep 8 (V7N)- BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu has accused certain individuals of engaging in extortion, looting, and illegal occupations under the guise of BNP and Chhatra Dal, with the intent to damage the party’s reputation.

Speaking at a protest meeting in front of the National Press Club on Sunday, Dudu emphasized the importance of addressing such activities. "Wherever such incidents occur, the culprits must be immediately apprehended and handed over to the police," he urged.

The BNP leader also criticized India for sheltering Sheikh Hasina. "India has given refuge to a fascist. You should return her to Bangladesh. By protecting her, you are not supporting democracy. Bangladesh will not find peace until Sheikh Hasina is brought to justice," he stated.

Dudu further remarked, "After a long struggle, Bangladesh now has a unique opportunity to restore democracy, secure independence, and protect the rights of its people. We must seize this chance, uphold the momentum created by the mass uprising, and move forward to secure these fundamental rights."
