Nov 19 (V7N) - The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming home series against Ireland. The squad features the return of experienced pacer Jahanara Alam and batter Sharmin Akter Supta to the ODI format after extended breaks. Jahanara last played in May 2023, while Sharmin's previous ODI appearance was in July last year.

The team also includes fresh faces, with Taj Nehar and Sanjida Akhter Meghla earning their maiden ODI call-ups. However, notable omissions include Disha Bishwas, Sumaiya Akter, Nishita Akhter, and Farzana Haque Lisa, who have been left out of the ODI setup.

The Irish Women's team will arrive in Dhaka on November 22 for three ODIs and three T20Is, as part of the ICC FTP program. The ODIs will be hosted at Mirpur on November 27, November 30, and December 2, while the T20Is are set to take place in Sylhet on December 5, 7, and 9.
