Sports, Dec 30, (V7N) - Jake Paul and Conor McGregor are two of the biggest names in combat sports, and fans have been wondering if they will ever fight each other.

An ESPN boxing reporter recently mentioned that there could be a fight between Paul and McGregor next summer in India. This was based on information from unnamed sources. After his win over Mike Tyson last month, Jake Paul called out McGregor on social media, suggesting they face off in an MMA fight. However, McGregor has said that he will first participate in an exhibition boxing match against Jake Paul's brother, Luke Paul, before returning to the UFC.

As of now, there is no confirmed date or agreement for a fight between Jake Paul and Conor McGregor.

What Jake Paul has said about fighting Conor McGregor:
Before the report from ESPN, Jake Paul responded to talks about a possible fight with McGregor. In a post on social media, Paul said that McGregor's team has been trying to arrange a fight with him through negotiations with Bellator fighter Michael "Venom" Page. Paul added that he would only be open to discussing a fight if Dana White and the UFC are involved in the talks.

Jake Paul's last fight:
Jake Paul, 27, won a unanimous decision over Mike Tyson, 58, last month in Arlington, Texas. This victory improved his boxing record to 11-1.

Conor McGregor's last fight:
Conor McGregor, 36, has not fought in the UFC since suffering a broken leg in a loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021. McGregor has won only one MMA fight in the last eight years. He also has an 0-1 record in boxing, after losing to Floyd Mayweather by TKO in 2017.
