Barcelona, Nov 18 (V7N) — FC Barcelona plans to honor Argentine star Lionel Messi with a sculpture at Camp Nou, the club’s vice president Elena Forte confirmed.

Messi, who spent over 20 years at Barcelona, won 34 titles, including 10 La Liga and 4 Champions League trophies. He left for the United States in August 2021, leaving some fans feeling his farewell was incomplete.

The club is currently renovating Camp Nou, and the Messi sculpture is part of its plans to recognize his legendary contributions.
