Two games are slated for the day at Mymensingh and Munshiganj to kick off the second round of the 10-team ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football on Friday, December 29.

The winners of the Federation Cup, Dhaka Mohammedan SC, will take on Sheikh Russel KC on Friday at 2:30 pm at the Rafique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh. On Friday, Rahmatganj MFS will play Brothers Union Club at the Bir Shreshtha Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.

Three matches are planned to take place at three different locations on Saturday December 30.

At the Bir Shreshtha Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj, Dhaka, holders Bashundhara Kings will take on Chittagong Abahani Ltd. In the Muktijoddha Smriti Stadium in Rajshahi, Abahani Ltd will take on Fortis FC, and in the Rafique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh, Sheikh Jamal DC will take on Police FC. Starting at 2:30 pm, everything will begin.

On January 12 and 13, there will be matches in the third round.

Holders Bashundhara Kings, Dhaka Mohammedan SC, Bangladesh Police FC, and Sheikh Russel KC led the league table after the first-round matches were finished, earning all three points.

Bashundhara Kings defeated Brothers Union Club 5-2 in the opening round of play, while Dhaka Mohammedan SC defeated Fortis SC 2-1, Police FC defeated Chittagong Abahani Ltd 2-0, Sheikh Russel KC defeated Sheikh Jamal DC 2-1, and six-time champions Dhaka Abahani Ltd and Rahmatganj MFS played to a 1-1 draw.

Every Friday and Saturday of the week is set aside for the BPL matches.
