Budapest, Sep 10 (V7N) – Italy secured a 2-1 victory over Israel in a UEFA Nations League Group A-2 match on Tuesday, maintaining their perfect record and climbing to the top of the group with six points from two games.

Due to security concerns, the match was held at a neutral venue in Budapest, Hungary. Italy took the lead in the 38th minute through Davide Frattesi, who slotted the ball past the Israeli goalkeeper just before halftime.

Moise Kean doubled Italy's advantage an hour into the match, scoring on a rebound. Despite Italy's dominance throughout the game, Israel managed to pull one back in the 90th minute. Mohamed Abu Fani's free-kick was finished by Jal Kampal, making the final score 2-1.

With this win, Italy sits at the top of the group, while France is in second place with three points. Belgium also has three points, creating a close competition in League A's Group 2.
