NOV 09, V7N- North Korea carried out GPS jamming attacks on Friday and Saturday, targeting ships and civilian aircraft in South Korea, according to Seoul's military. The jamming occurred in the areas of Haeju and Kaesong, leading to operational disruptions for several vessels and dozens of aircraft. This action follows a recent test of North Korea's advanced solid-fuel ICBM, the most powerful of its kind, and comes after allegations that North Korean soldiers have been sent to assist Russia in the war against Ukraine.

In response, South Korea fired its own ballistic missile into the sea on Friday, signaling its "strong resolve" to counter any North Korean provocations. The South Korean military issued a warning to ships and aircraft operating in the Yellow Sea to remain cautious about potential GPS disruptions. South Korea has demanded that North Korea cease the jamming, warning that it will be held accountable for any future incidents resulting from these provocations.
