US President Joe Biden anticipates a ceasefire in Gaza to be in effect by next Monday, as reported by Reuters, CNN, and Al Jazeera on Monday (February 26).

Negotiations for a ceasefire and the release of hostages are progressing positively with Israel and Hamas. Representatives from Egypt, Qatar, Israel, the United States, and Hamas have engaged in several meetings, with talks potentially moving to Cairo following recent discussions in Paris and Doha.

However, despite ceasefire negotiations, Israeli aggression persists in Gaza, with forces under Netanyahu's command launching a severe attack in Rafah on Monday. The ongoing aggression, which has lasted about five months, has resulted in the deaths of approximately 30,000 Palestinians.

President Biden expressed optimism, stating, "Hopefully, within weeks, a ceasefire will be in effect in Gaza." He received updates from the National Security Adviser, indicating that they are close to reaching a ceasefire agreement. Biden noted that there is still some work to be done but expressed hope that the ceasefire would be established by next Monday.
