Washington, Mar 01 (V7N) – The United States has approved the sale of more than $3 billion worth of military equipment to Israel, including ammunition, bulldozers, and other military supplies, according to the Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency.

The deal was approved by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday (February 28), local time. The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency confirmed that the package includes:

  • $2.04 billion worth of bomb shells and warheads
  • $675.7 million worth of additional bomb shells and guidance kits
  • $295 million worth of bulldozers and related equipment

The agency emphasized that the United States remains committed to Israel’s security, stating that maintaining Israel’s defense capabilities is a key national interest.

Continued Military Support to Israel

This latest approval follows a $7.4 billion arms package announced in early February, which included bombs, missiles, and other military equipment.

The move has sparked international debate, as tensions in the Middle East remain high, and calls for ceasefire and de-escalation continue from various global actors.
