Tel Aviv, June 20 (V7N) – The United States and Germany have sent additional shipments of weapons to Israel amid escalating tensions with Iran. According to the Israeli Defense Ministry, 14 cargo planes carrying military supplies arrived in Israel last Thursday (June 19).

This latest shipment is part of ongoing efforts to bolster the operational capabilities of the Israeli military. The ministry stated that the supplies are intended to support Israel in “achieving its war objectives” and to enhance “readiness and stockpiles.”

However, neither the Israeli Defense Ministry nor the governments of the US and Germany have disclosed the specific types of weapons and military equipment included in these shipments.

Since the beginning of the conflict on October 7, 2023, Israel has received approximately 800 cargo shipments of weapons, with significant contributions from the United States.

The latest shipment comes at a time of heightened military activity in the region, with Israel continuing operations against Iran following Tehran’s missile strikes earlier this week.
