Gaza, July 3 (V7N) — Israeli military strikes have killed at least 111 Palestinians in a single day, as aggression continues despite ongoing ceasefire negotiations. The casualties were reported across various parts of Gaza, including refugee camps and aid distribution points.
According to Qatar-based Al Jazeera, 24 of the victims were civilians waiting for food at an aid distribution center.
In one of the deadliest attacks of the day, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) targeted the home of Dr. Marwan al-Sultan, the director of the Indonesian Hospital — the largest medical facility in the valley. Dr. al-Sultan, his wife, and one of their daughters were killed in the airstrike. The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed the deaths, while Israel labeled Dr. al-Sultan a terrorist.
The attacks also struck areas designated as "safe zones" in both northern and southern Gaza. At least five people, including children, were killed in one such strike.
The latest wave of violence further complicates efforts to secure a ceasefire as humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate.
