Mexico City, Aug 28 (V7N) – A heated argument in the Mexican parliament escalated into a physical brawl on Wednesday (August 27), when two senators clashed during a plenary session. The scuffle quickly drew in several other lawmakers, creating chaos on the chamber floor.

According to international media reports, the confrontation began between Alejandro “Alito” Moreno Cárdenas and Gerardo Fernández Noronha. Footage from the session shows the two senators shoving each other amid rising tensions.

The incident erupted after the national anthem was played and the legislative session ended. Moreno reportedly complained that he was not given the opportunity to speak during the session. When he confronted Noronha over the matter, the situation turned into a fistfight, prompting other parliamentarians to get involved.
