Tragedy struck Kharkiv, Ukraine, as at least 5 individuals lost their lives and seven others sustained injuries in a Russian missile attack, as reported by Reuters on Wednesday (March 20). The missile, launched into the industrial area of the northern city, triggered a devastating explosion that engulfed a printing house in flames, spreading over an area of 2 thousand square meters.

Amidst the chaos, emergency responders raced against time to rescue 10 individuals trapped inside the burning building, managing to extricate them alive. However, the toll of casualties underscores the severity of the assault on Kharkiv, which has been subjected to repeated attacks throughout the two-year-long Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In a separate incident, a Russian air base in the Saratov region, located 45 miles southeast of Moscow, came under attack by drones. The base, housing Russian long-range bombers, was targeted in the drone strike, although local authorities asserted that no significant damage was inflicted despite the direct hit.
