Gaza, Oct 11 (V7N) – After two years of relentless Israeli aggression, residents of Gaza have begun returning to their devastated homeland. The once-vibrant valley now lies in ruins.

Under a newly reached agreement, Hamas will release the remaining Israeli hostages on Monday, US President Donald Trump announced.

“The hostages will return home on Monday,” Trump said. “They are in a terrible place — very few people know where they are. The prisoners will be returned, and 28 bodies will also be sent back.”

The US President further stated that he will travel to Israel and address the Knesset, before heading to Egypt, where the official agreement is set to be signed. “Many other world leaders have been invited and will attend,” he added.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has carried out continuous military assaults in Gaza. Except for a brief two-month ceasefire, the bombardment has persisted — leaving over 67,000 Palestinians dead and around 170,000 injured, according to humanitarian reports.
