Washington, Nov 18 (V7N) — US President Donald Trump announced plans to sell F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s first US visit in over seven years, despite concerns within the administration about technology risks, including the potential transfer of sensitive systems to China, The Associated Press reported.

The visit is expected to feature several major deals, including Saudi investment in US artificial intelligence infrastructure and new nuclear energy cooperation. Officials noted that the F-35 sale will not undermine Israel’s military superiority, a key concern for the administration.
