Washington D.C., Feb 10 (V7N) — Ghislaine Maxwell, former associate and girlfriend of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, refused to answer questions from the U.S. House Oversight Committee on Monday.

When asked about her relationship with Epstein, Maxwell invoked her constitutional right not to incriminate herself and did not provide any responses.

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in sex trafficking and exploitation, having been convicted as an accomplice to Epstein.

The hearing comes after the release of three million pages of documents related to Epstein, revealing alleged scandals and implicating Maxwell in criminal activities alongside Epstein.
