Tehran, Feb 27 (V7N) — Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has offered to mediate between Pakistan and Afghanistan to help end the ongoing conflict. He confirmed the offer in a post on his social media handle X on Friday (February 27).
Araghchi urged both Islamabad and Kabul to resolve their differences peacefully during the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing that dialogue, not war, should be the path forward.
The Iranian Foreign Minister stated that Tehran is willing to facilitate discussions between the two countries and is open to providing any assistance necessary to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation.
It is noteworthy that the United Nations has previously called on both Pakistan and Afghanistan to adhere to international law amid the escalating tensions.
