Tehran, Mar 04 (V7N) — The number of casualties from the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran continues to rise, with at least 12 countries affected so far. According to the latest updated figures published by Al Jazeera as of March 3, deaths and injuries are increasing across multiple nations, with Iran recording the highest toll.
Highest Number of Deaths in Iran
In Iran, which remains at the center of the conflict, at least 787 people have been confirmed dead. More than a hundred others have reportedly been injured. The casualties have mounted following strikes on military and strategic installations across the country.
Casualties in Lebanon and Israel
In Lebanon, 40 people have been killed and 246 injured, primarily in areas near the border affected by shelling and airstrikes.
Meanwhile, in Israel, 11 people have been reported killed, with over a hundred injured. Authorities activated missile defense systems in several cities as warning sirens sounded amid incoming attacks.
Impact on Iraq, Kuwait and the Gulf Region
In Iraq, two people were killed and five injured.
In Kuwait, three were killed and 35 injured.
In Bahrain, one person was killed and four injured.
In Qatar, 16 people were reported injured.
In the United Arab Emirates, three people were killed and 68 injured.
In Oman, one person was killed and five injured.
In Jordan, five people were injured.
US Military Casualties
The conflict has also resulted in casualties among US forces stationed across the region. Reports indicate that six US military personnel have been killed and 18 others injured in ongoing attacks.
As hostilities intensify, international concern continues to grow over the possibility of a broader regional war. Despite heightened diplomatic efforts, observers warn that the risk of further escalation cannot be ruled out.
