Tehran, Mar 12 (V7N) – Masoud Pezeshkian has laid out three key conditions under which Iran would consider ending the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel, according to regional news reports.

Pezeshkian said that the war can only be brought to a halt if the following conditions are met:

  1. Recognition of Iran’s legitimate rights – Tehran wants its political and strategic rights officially acknowledged by the involved powers.

  2. Payment of reparations – Compensation for the damage and losses suffered during the conflict is demanded by Iran.

  3. Strong international guarantees – Tehran says there must be firm international assurances that no further attacks on Iran will occur in the future.

In a social media post, the Iranian president said that while reaffirming Iran’s commitment to peace in the region, these conditions are essential for a lasting end to hostilities. He spoke about the matter in conversations with leaders of other countries, including Vladimir Putin and Pakistan’s leadership.

This announcement comes amid continued military exchanges and rising tensions across the Middle East, following attacks and retaliations between Iran, US, and Israeli forces.
