Tehran, Mar 17 (V7N) – Iran’s top security official has urged Muslim-majority countries to stand by Tehran amid ongoing conflicts with the United States and Israel.

In a statement on Monday, Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, appealed to regional leaders in a letter written in Arabic, saying, “Think about the future of the Islamic world.” He warned that “today’s conflict is between America and Israel on one side, and the resistance forces on the other,” and added, “America is not loyal to anyone and Israel is your enemy. Stop for a moment and think about the future of yourselves and the region. Iran is sincere towards you and has no intention of dominating.”

Larijani claimed that Iran is a victim of what he described as “American-Zionist aggression” designed to weaken the country, while criticizing what he called the limited support from Muslim nations in times of crisis. He also highlighted the Iranian people’s resilience, saying they have built a strong national and Islamic resistance.

The letter comes amid rising tensions in the region, as several Muslim countries—including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain—have condemned Iran’s attacks on their territories. Iran, meanwhile, has repeatedly stated it will continue targeting sites associated with US regional bases.
