Tehra, May 04 (V7N)- Iran’s Housing Foundation has announced that repair work has already been completed on approximately 37,000 residential and commercial units damaged during the war.
According to the agency, the repaired properties include both homes and business establishments. However, officials said the overall post-war reconstruction process is still ongoing and has not yet been fully completed.
Iranian authorities stated that the comprehensive rebuilding and repair operations for damaged infrastructure and facilities will continue, with the full reconstruction target set for completion by March 2027.
Meanwhile, the United States has said it will provide navigational and security-related information to commercial ships traveling through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
According to a report by CNN, the initiative is intended to improve the safety of international shipping in the vital waterway, which plays a major role in global trade and energy transportation.
However, US officials clarified that the move does not involve a formal naval escort mission, nor will the US Navy directly accompany commercial vessels through the route.
The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most sensitive maritime corridors, through which a significant portion of global oil and trade shipments pass daily.
