Tehran, July 31 (V7N)- Iran’s military has claimed that it carried out a successful drone attack on the US strategic military base Ahmed al-Jaber Airbase in Kuwait, describing the operation as retaliation for a recent US strike on Iranian territory.
According to a report by Tasnim News Agency on Friday (July 31), the attack involved explosive-laden drones targeting hangars, satellite communication systems and other critical facilities at the US base.
The report said the operation was launched in response to a recent US airstrike on a residential building on Qeshm Island in Iran. Iranian forces claimed that the Kuwaiti airbase was being used as an important hub for US air surveillance and strategic military support operations across the Middle East.
However, details regarding possible casualties or damage from the reported attack were not immediately available.
