Tel Aviv, 06 July 2024 - Israel is experiencing significant resistance from Palestinian armed groups, including Hezbollah, Hamas, the Qassem Brigade, Al Quds Force, Islamic Jihad, and other allied organizations. These groups are launching simultaneous attacks on the Israeli army, presenting a formidable challenge to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Despite nine months of sustained aggression, the armed groups' tactics have put the IDF, which is equipped with advanced weaponry, in a difficult position.

On Thursday, July 4, Al Quds forces launched a direct attack on the Israeli army headquarters in the Nahal Oz area outside Gaza City, firing a barrage of rockets. Heavy resistance also erupted in Gaza's Shujaiya area, with multiple mortar shells targeting the Israeli fleet. The armed groups claim several Israeli soldiers were killed in these attacks, though the IDF has not officially confirmed this.

The Qassem Brigade also targeted an Israeli command and control site in Gaza City using short-range missiles, resulting in casualties among the attackers.

Resistance is not confined to Gaza. In the West Bank, significant opposition has emerged, with numerous enemy troops reportedly killed in the Tal-as-Sultan area through grenade, sniper, and machine gun attacks. The city of Rafah has also seen fierce resistance from freedom fighters. Recent images have surfaced showing the destruction of various Israeli military vehicles, including tanks and armored vehicles.

Earlier this year, Israel asserted that it had weakened the backbone of Palestinian fighters. However, the ongoing conflict suggests that the IDF, despite its modern arsenal, continues to struggle against the persistent resistance of Palestinian armed groups.
