New York, 14 July- Former US President Donald Trump was attacked while giving a speech at an election rally in Pennsylvania. According to a report by CNN on Sunday (July 14), Trump sustained injuries but survived the incident.

A video of the attack circulating on social media shows blood pouring from Trump's ears and face. Following the attack, Trump was swiftly escorted to a nearby car, where he received first aid. His campaign has stated that the Republican presidential candidate is in good health and is currently receiving treatment.

In response to the attack, US President Joe Biden issued a statement condemning the violence in Pennsylvania, asserting that such acts should be denounced by all.

The attack occurred on Saturday evening (July 13) local time during an election campaign event. The suspected attacker was shot dead by the police, and a supporter was also killed, according to District Attorney Richard Goldinger, as reported by The Washington Post.

The incident took place around 6:15 PM local time, resulting in minor injuries to Trump. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken expressed his shock and sadness over the attack.
