Doha, August 3- Hamas officials have reiterated their unwavering commitment to the movement's cause, asserting that the organization's efforts to protect Palestinian rights will persist regardless of leadership losses. This statement was made by Hamas leader Mohammad Najjal during a mourning meeting in Doha on Friday, following the death of Ismail Haniya, a prominent figure within the group.

Najjal emphasized that Hamas is a structured and systematic organization, suggesting that its activities will continue according to established protocols. He noted that the process of selecting new leadership will adhere to the organization's electoral rules. The leader's remarks underscored Hamas's resolve to resist Israeli actions and defend Palestinian rights, despite the loss of key leaders.

Najjal further stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's belief that the elimination of leaders like Haniyeh and military actions in Gaza could weaken Hamas or deceive the Palestinian people is misguided. He affirmed that Hamas remains steadfast in its mission and will not compromise on its principles. The organization's leadership and supporters, he asserted, are determined to continue their struggle for Palestinian rights.
