Boris Nadezhdin's candidacy in the Russian presidential election has been canceled by the country's election commission. He is widely known in the country as an anti-war candidate. He collected the signatures of 200,000 supporters to fight against Russian President Putin in the elections to be held in March.

But Russia's Central Election Commission claims 15 percent of the signatures it submitted were flawed. Boris later challenged the Election Commission, but the commission rejected his appeal.

After this incident, Boris announced on social media that he will approach the Supreme Court of Russia. He said there, I have collected more than 100,000 signatures from all over Russia but they are spreading false propaganda that the signatures are not valid.

The full decision on who can participate in the Russian presidential election will come on Saturday (February 10). The election will be held on March 15-17.
