Balochistan, Sep 14 (V7N)– A tragic bus accident in the Danasar area of Sherani, Balochistan, claimed six lives and left 20 others injured on Saturday. The passenger bus, travelling from Islamabad to Quetta, veered off a mountain road and plunged into a ditch due to a mechanical fault, according to road safety officials.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and transported the injured to the nearest hospital for urgent treatment. The government of Balochistan has ordered an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.

Pakistan has seen a number of devastating road accidents in recent months. Last August, several incidents claimed dozens of lives, including an August 25 accident on the Makran Coastal Highway where 11 people died, and another in Gilgit Baltistan that killed 25 people.
