People take Chui from Khulna to different parts of the country. Dedar is also being sold online. Salam said, earlier they used to buy chui from the seller's house at wholesale price at Tk 800 per kg, but now they have to buy it at 1 thousand to Tk 1 thousand 200. But original Chui is the most expensive. He has Chuijhal priced up to Tk 1,800 per kg. Mainly, the taste of Chuijhal from Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat and Jessore regions is high, so the demand is also high.
Chuijhal's cooked beef and mutton shops have been opened in various places including Zero Point in Khulna centered on Chuijhal. Habibullah Khan of Thanhika residential area was buying Chuizhal from Rahman Sheikh's shop in Gallamari Bazar. He said, 'Now I don't taste much beef without Chuijhal. Every year I buy more Chuizhal during Eid. It also has to be sent to the homes of relatives in Dhaka. Now I see the price is quite high.

Shariful Islam of Khulna sells Chuizhal online in different parts of the country. He takes the order online and delivers it to the customer through courier. Shariful Islam said, there is a demand for Chuijhal all year round. But demand increases a lot during Eid. Especially Dhaka-centric buyers are more. Buyers want good quality Chuijhal. That is what we try to convey to them.
At present, one has to spend between 1 thousand 200 and 1 thousand 800 taka to buy good quality chuijhal. According to the information of the Khulna regional office of the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), 576 tons of chuijhal were produced in the southern districts of Khulna, Bagerhat, Satkhira and Narail in the last fiscal year 2022-23. In the previous financial year 2021-22, 347 tonnes of Chuizhal was produced.
The production of Chuijhal has increased by 229 tons in one financial year. Five years ago, in the fiscal year 2018-19, the total production of chuijhal in the country was 238 tonnes. That is, the production of Chuijhal is increasing day by day. Due to increase in market demand, farmers are also interested in producing it commercially. Chuijhal production has increased more than three times in the last six years.
Khulna Department of Agricultural Extension has published a list of benefits of Chuijhal. According to the list, Chuizhal not only enhances the taste of meat, but also solves gastric problems and relieves constipation. It has an effective role in increasing the taste of food and eliminating hunger.
Chuijhal is very useful in curing stomach and intestinal inflammation. Relieves nervous tension and mental restlessness, acts as a sedative and is effective in reducing physical weakness and healing body pain.
