Oct 08,V7N- Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce chose not to address the growing tension between the team and star receiver Davante Adams, who requested a trade last week. After the Raiders' 34-18 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Pierce was asked about the reasons behind Adams' discontent. He responded, "I don't know. I think you've got to ask Davante that."Adams has missed the last two games due to a right hamstring injury but is reportedly close to full recovery, according to NFL Network. However, there is speculation that his next game may not be played in a Raiders uniform.

ESPN reported that several teams are interested in acquiring Adams, with the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints seen as the frontrunners for the six-time Pro Bowler.Previously, Adams spent eight successful seasons with the Green Bay Packers, catching passes from current Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He joined the Raiders last season to reunite with former Fresno State teammate Derek Carr, but Carr has since moved to the Saints. Other potential suitors for Adams include the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, and Pittsburgh Steelers. This season, Adams has recorded 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown in three games with the Raiders.

Over his two-plus seasons in Las Vegas, he has accumulated 221 receptions for 2,869 yards and 23 touchdowns. Throughout his 11 NFL seasons, the three-time All-Pro has achieved 890 catches, 10,990 yards, and 96 touchdowns, earning six Pro Bowl selections consecutively from 2017 to 2022. The Raiders (2-3) are set to host the Steelers (3-2) on Sunday.
