Oct 09,V7N- The Philadelphia Eagles have released Devin White, the former Pro Bowl linebacker, who had not played a game for the team since signing in free agency. White, a former first-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2019 NFL Draft, had an impressive career with Tampa Bay, including a Pro Bowl appearance in 2021 and a key role in the Bucs' Super Bowl LV victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

During his five-year stint with the Buccaneers, White made significant contributions, amassing 566 tackles, 23 sacks, 64 quarterback hits, and several forced turnovers, including an interception of Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl. However, after joining the Eagles, White struggled to secure a role on the team and did not play in any games.

Philadelphia, currently at 2-2, is set to host the Cleveland Browns this Sunday following their bye week, as they look to rebound and improve their season.
