Dhaka, Dec 24,( V7N ) - The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the 2024 ICC Champions Trophy, set to take place from February 19 to March 9 across Pakistan and the UAE. This will mark the return of the prestigious tournament for the first time since its last edition in 2017.

The 15-match event will feature eight teams, with defending champions Pakistan hosting the tournament for the first time since 1996, alongside the UAE as a neutral venue. Matches will be held across three stadiums in Pakistan—Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi—with the Dubai International Cricket Stadium hosting games in the UAE.

Tournament Structure

The competition will see teams split into two groups:

Group A: Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, and Pakistan

Group B: Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa

Bangladesh's Fixtures

Bangladesh will begin their campaign on February 20, facing India in Dubai, followed by a clash with New Zealand on February 24 and Pakistan on February 27, both in Rawalpindi.

Key Dates

First Semi-Final: March 4, Dubai

Second Semi-Final: March 5, Lahore

Final: March 9, Lahore (with Dubai as the backup venue if India qualifies)
