Tehran, Sep 29 (V7N)— Protests erupted in Iran and Yemen on Saturday night as thousands of people gathered to denounce Israel's ongoing military aggression in Gaza and Beirut. The demonstrations were a direct response to Israel's airstrikes and U.S. support for the attacks.

In Tehran, protesters assembled in Palestine Square, chanting slogans such as "Destroy Israel" and "Destroy America." Demonstrations also took place in Inqilab Square following Friday prayers, where demonstrators carried images of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and waved Palestinian and Hezbollah flags. Chants of "Destruction of Israel, victory of Lebanon" echoed through the crowds.

Protesters expressed their outrage by burning Israeli and U.S. flags, condemning both nations for their role in the conflict. The protests signal widespread public anger in the region over the Israeli assaults and the U.S.'s backing of its ally.

Similar protests have also taken place in Yemen, with demonstrators in various cities voicing their solidarity with Palestine and Hezbollah while condemning the violence.

The protests reflect the growing tensions and unrest in the Middle East as the conflict in Gaza and Lebanon continues to intensify.
